Since 2005, Bears 'n' Buddies Canada® has been owned & operated out of the Southern Ontario area by a dedicated work-at-home mom to two active little boys.
We are strictly an online store operated out of a private residence. Therefore we do NOT offer local pickup. We have no stores in shopping malls or anywhere else.
Business hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday EST. Any orders placed on the weekend or holiday do not get processed until the first business day after.

Where do your products come from and do the products contain lead?
Our products are made in China and imported from suppliers in the United States. No lead is used in any paint or plastics in the making of them. Product quality reports can be produced up request.
Are these stuffed animals safe for my baby?
As with most stuffed animals, they do have small parts (the eyes) and are therefore rated for those over the age of 3. We currently carry a few bears (Sweetpea & Pookie) that have all embroidered parts.
What sort of closure do your products feature?
All of our products feature our exclusive, patented closure. On the interior of the animal, there is a locking zipper.The zipper will "lock" once it is pulled closed.The zipper pull has a removable pull string, which is to be removed when the zipper is entirely pulled up.On the exterior of the animal is a Velcro closure, which closes directly atop the zipper, so that it is not visible.
Can the buddies be washed?
Yes. Place the buddy in a lingerie bag or pillow case and coldwater wash on the delicate cycle. When cycle is finished, lift buddy out and lay to dry. The buddy may be put in the dryer when it is completely dry to fluff up a bit.
Unfortunately, even with these cleaning suggestions, we cannot promise that all stains and dirt can be removed from your buddy or that certain detergents will not damage your buddy. Please remember to treat, clean, and care for your buddy with as much love and gentle care as possible so that you and your buddy can enjoy a lifetime of love together.
How often do you come out with new products?
We are always looking for new buddies to add to our store. Some buddies are seasonal while others are permanent fixtures.
Do you have a brick and mortor store that I can see the products at?
No, we are an online store.
Is it safe to enter my credit card information on the web site?
Yes. In addition to the security benefit of our firewall, we use a deluxe Secure Socket Layer(SSL) 128 bit encryption technology to maintain the safety and privacy of your information. SSL is the industry standard and the most effective way to conduct secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Whenever you see a URL that begins with https://, you are using SSL.
How far in advance do I need to order my birthday party package?
Birthday Party Orders MUST be placed at least 14 business days before party date in Ontario & 21 business days before party date for the rest of Canada. Purchases are processed by date ordered NOT by when party is.
How do you ship my order?
We use Fed Ex Ground to send out orders. There are some cases where FedEx Ground does not usually deliver to so Canada Post Expedited would be used in these situations. Orders are insured for $100 and you will receive tracking information when the package ships to you.
